I try too hard with flavours sometimes. I like them big. Lots of garlic and chilli and lemon. Bitter and sour and umami. That’s where my souls lives. I don’t do subtle that well. Or so I thought until I made this London fog pie. .

Library porn. Basically. A break from the food photos. . . . . . Some serious Beauty and the Beast/Harry Potter/ Indiana Jones vibes at Trinity Library. This place features regularly in my dreams (and my nightmares).
New job. New home. New kitchen. Can not wait to try out some new recipes. February was the month of new.

It’s no secret I’m a child of winter. I hate summer. It’s my least favourite time of year. Fitting I came back to Australia smack bang in the middle of the hottest summer ever. Timing has never been a virtue of mine. . .

The jet lag was almost easy this time around, mostly because I have been too busy to be tired. Anyone have any tips to beat the jet lag?
